Would you like to become a member of the Parklands Estate Residents’ Association? If so, read on…

The Parklands Estate Residents’ Association is a non-profit-making, non-political, non-religious, inclusive organisation that represents the interests of everyone living on and around the Parklands Estate.

  • Membership of the Parklands Estate Residents’ Association is open to all leaseholders, homeowners and tenants living on the Parklands Estate. 
  • Membership is also open to friends of Parklands Estate living in the surrounding local areas (at the discretion of the committee).
  • Members get the opportunity to shape events and activities on Parklands Estate to promote community spirit.
  • The membership year starts on 1st January and lasts for 12 months.

What will my membership give me?

1: The ability to share thoughts and ideas about the estate with the Property Management company and Parklands Board of Directors as a collective voice.

2: The ability be involved in shaping the grounds with our expert grounds maintenance company: Richard & Jeff from Great Grounds & Gardens can’t wait to get you involved.

3: Up to four newsletters per year by email (on paper by special request) with updates and information about the estate.

4: 1-2 meetings per year on site to provide updates and opportunities to plan events and share ideas about how to improve the estate.

5: An email address that you can contact any time with ideas, questions and concerns that will be responded to within 7 days.

6: A dedicated website with information, updates and blog posts; it will be a central point for all things Parklands!

7: You will be part of a group of like-minded people who will support your ideas to bring the community on the estate together.

8: A collective voice to enable us to lobby the local council and other services that affect life on our estate.

9: Support to arrange/organise social and other events on site to bring the community together.

If any member has an idea for an event or activity, we’d love to hear it and get you involved in bringing your idea to life.

Are you a shareholder (leaseholder or homeowner)? This is only for the purposes of identifying shareholders who have a formal vote about management and finances under the terms of the lease, and for no other reason. All residents of Parklands Estate will be treated equally as part of the Residents’ Association, no matter whether you rent your property, own your property or lease your property.
