Three teams from Great Grounds & Gardens were on site today. Here’s a bit more about their visit from Richard…
It was a lovely day at Parklands today…every bit of grass was cut with 3 teams on site this morning and hedge cutting and weed spraying in the afternoon. We removed the broken planter from Ashworth Square and helped the lady who likes to do the sun flowers. We had an amazing day today!
A couple of points we are watching: The loninera that people were worried about us cutting is doing really well; we have cut the disease out and it’s bouncing back. We were asked why we cut hedges below the windows. This is because it’s good practice from a health and safety perspective; access is important in blocks of flats in emergency situations.
Thought of the day: Gardening is so subjective. One person’s weed is another’s flower. Some places grow and use dandelions and why not they are an amazing food source from leaf to flower to root…but we kill them; it truly is beauty is the eye of the beholder.
